As directed by Guru Vashisht, he arrived at the sacred grounds associated with Lord Shiva’s devotion, ultimately christened as Kamleshwar Mahadev. According to Kedarkhand in the Skanda Purana, this temple is recognized as one of the five Maheshwar Peethas in the Himalayas, a testament to its profound dedication to Lord Shiva.
