About Bijaypur

Nestled in Uttarakhand, India, Vijaypur, officially Bijaypur, is a charming hill station at 2050m. It offers panoramic views of Himalayan peaks like Trisul, Nanda Devi, and Nanda Kot. Dhaulinag Temple adds cultural richness as one of Kumaun’s prominent Nag temples. With roots dating back to the 20th century, Vijaypur’s tea estate, once British, was later renamed by trader Vijay Lal Shah.

Strategically on NH 309A, 30 km from Bageshwar, and 5 km from Kanda, Vijaypur connects seamlessly via share-taxis and buses. Despite its allure, Vijaypur maintains a small population, embracing Hindi, Sanskrit, and Kumaoni languages.
